As part of project activities aimed at maintaining and improving hiking trails along the White and Green Lines of Via Dinarica, maintenance activities have been carried out over the past several weeks across several mountain areas throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The activities were carried out by members of the hiking clubs and organizations that are project partners: PD Treskavica, PD Željezničar, PD Orlova Stina, PSD Lelija Zelengora, and Association Horizonti.

The trail maintenance works covered the areas of Čvrsnica, Prenj, Bjelašnica, Visočica, Igman, Jahorina, Treskavica, Zelengora, and Vlašić. Field activities included cleaning and clearing hiking trails, as well as trail marking and the renewal of existing hiking signage.

Particular attention was given to renewing worn-out trail markings and adding new markings where necessary, further improving trail visibility and safety. Damaged directional signs were also replaced, making navigation easier and safer for hikers and other visitors.
